You might have read Mike's blog about how we calculate the cost of change (click here).
We’ve talked to a lot of people over the years who have been interested in a business and personal development programme, but have for one reason or another, not gone ahead with it.
We’ve come up with a new approach, based on a deep appreciation of why people change, and more particularly why they don’t. The reason we don't change, even when it's clearly in our best interest to do so, is the way we calculate the cost-benefit ratio. The short term cost of any change is real, immediate and "expensive". It's right in front of us, and it isn't pleasant. But the long term benefit is, by comparison, less real because it's off in the future. Its value is general and uncertain. And while the benefits of change might be really important and valuable to us, it's not all that clear at that very moment how the short term cost is going to deliver on the promise.
There are two approaches to this: one is to talk up the benefits and try to make them as immediate as possible. That’s when we move into hype territory, and I’m not especially comfortable about over-promising. The other approach is to reduce the short term cost, recognising that some of the benefit will be lost too.
At NBCoach we’ve launched a product that is much cheaper, takes less time, and focuses on the “vital few”: the relatively small number of things that mark out successful, profitable businesses from those that continue to stumble along – if they’re lucky.
You get:
There’s nothing else like this in the market. It will help you stay focused on the big picture, give you new ideas for your business, help you solve the challenges of growth, and assist you to get your life and business to that elusive next level.
Is it as good as the more expensive NBCoach programmes?
Of course not. The benefits are proportional to the commitment. We usually found that those who made the most effort to get to the programme were the ones who benefitted the most.
Does it represent a good return on a smaller investment?
Absolutely. We can say that with absolute certainty because simply getting involved in a network will give you structure and accountability, and Mike's involvement will give you new ideas and inspiration.
