Dr Mike Ashby
Mike is the Founder and Director of National Business Coach. He has been a business coach since 2003 as Director and Owner of the Entrepreneurs Success Programme (North). He has established himself as one of the foremost business coaches in the country with his unique blend of intelligence, personal experience and insight.
Before he bought the Entrepreneurs Programme in 2003, Mike was Chief Operating Officer at Southern Cross where he was responsible for turning around a $42M loss to a $30M profit in two years.
Prior to that he was a partner at Ernst & Young Consulting, leading the Strategy Transformation team in Wellington.
He's been involved in change management his entire professional career, and is considered to be one of New Zealand's foremost speakers and business coaches to small business owners.
Mike is married with 3 children, and lives in Auckland. His wife, Franceska Banga, is Chief Executive of the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund.
Wendy Taylor
Wendy's is NBCoach's Membership Manager. She joined NBCoach in June 2008, from an extensive background in sales and sales support. Most recently she was a "community organiser", managing a facility in East Auckland.
She is the first point of contact for members and prospects, and manages all aspects of member involvement with the programme. She and husband Craig have two small boys and a large dog.
Bruce Ross
Bruce is a former general manager of Entrepreneurs Success Programme, and has been working with Mike Ashby for the last 4 years. He is an expert coach, with a particular emphasis on assisting people to achieve breakthroughs in their thinking and behaviour. He is a master practitioner in transformation coaching, which focuses on helping people change the mental models that drive their business and personal behaviours.
Bruce works with both groups and individuals, and leads several of the NBCoach Working Groups. He is New Zealand's authority on Appreciative Inquiry, and has developed a large number of tools and frameworks to help business owners see the world and their business in a more productive way.
Bruce has been involved in coaching and personal development for nearly 10 years. Prior to that he had a background in HR and the recruitment industry.
Bruce is married with 2 daughters.
